This project started October 5th in 2023. The dream started many years earlier due to the need of an updated showerhouse. Here you can see the relationship of the new build to the pool, barn and dining hall.

10/2023 Excellent concrete work by the crew of Nelsen Welding. Dakota was great help in this project!

4/2024 I'm so thankful for our little Bobcat Utility Tractor. It let me backfill this basement wall and created this nice banked slope where the doors are.

4/2024 I'm so thankful  for these guys. Being slightly afraid of heights would make this a nightmare!

3/2025 The rest of the work was several volunteer groups framing walls and setting floor joist.

3/2025 This space is perfect for our worship/teaching area! We no longer have to shuffle between tables and chairs.

Another look at the cut of the dig. The soil remaining is a 5 foot ledge that protects the foundation of the original building. This creates a 5 foot larger footprint for the office and upper room (worship) area than the lower, shower area. 

3/2024 After the walls were poured the floor was done. Then the streel structure gives shape of the coming building.

3/2024 This is the first floor put in. It stood unprotected through the winter and spring until the steel went on. Don't use these stairs--yet! .

7/2024 I had so much comfort getting the skin on this building. The R30 of insulation makes this an efficient building. Now all the elements will stay out.

3/2025 My brother-in-law Tim Turpin, drew up the original plans, who also directed the crews and answered innumerable questions now is installing the stairs.

6/2025 Oh the joys of using this space to share the love of Christ. 9 were saved at camp in 2025!
